MANILA, Philippines— Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) granted land ownership certificates to fifty-seven (57) agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Twenty one (21) hectares of land in Barangay Andres Bonifacio were distributed to the farmers who have “tilled the lands for years,” according to Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer Ramon Silvino.
As of May 19, DAR said it has yet to validate over 410,000 hectares of land targeted for redistribution to ARBs.
