MANILA, Philippines – A 4.0 magnitude earthquake jolted Calatagan, Batangas, before noon Wednesday, state volcanologists said.
The tectonic quake was recorded at 11:48 a.m., 13 kilometers northwest of Calatagan. It had a depth of 123 kilometers, the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology said.
Meanwhile, authorities reported neither damage to property nor injuries. No aftershocks were also expected.
