Pagasa: Rains seen in parts of PH
MANILA, Philippines – Rains are expected in parts of the country due to a frontal system, or a merge of two winds, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Wednesday.
Northern Luzon will experience mostly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening, it said.
Meanwhile, warm weather is expected across Central and Southern Luzon due to a ridge of a high pressure area or clear skies.
Tuesday’s highest temperature in Metro Manila was recorded at 2:50 p.m. with 34.5 degrees Celsius
Light to moderate winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the east to northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. Frances Mangosing
