Malacañang bares latest batch of appointees

MANILA, Philippines — The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) on Sunday announced the latest batch of promotions and appointments made by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.,In a Facebook post, the PCO said Marcos promoted officials to the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Transportation (DOTr), and its Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), among others.

Below is the latest set of the chief executive’s appointees:

DAR

• Jose Angelo Martires (Assistant Secretary)
• Ubaldo Sadiarin Jr. (Assistant Secretary)

DA

• Bernadette San Juan (Director IV)
• Fidel Libao (Director III)
• Joell Lales (Bureau Of Agricultural Research, Director III)

DFA

• Mersole Mellejor (Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Nigeria, with Concurrent jurisdiction over the Republic of Benin, Burkina Faso, and the Republic Of Cameroon, among others)
• Raquel Solano (ad interim Chief of Mission, Class II)

DOST

• Napoleon Juanillo Jr. (Assistant Secretary)

DOTr – Philippine Coast Guard

• Roy Echeverria (Vice Admiral)

Toll Regulatory Board

• Rhouan Loseriaga (member, representing the private sector)

BCDA

• Joshua Bingcang (acting President and Chief Executive Officer, and member of the Board of Directors)

PCO

• Analisa Puod (People’s Television Network Inc. – acting general manager and member, representing the private sector and Broadcast Industry, Board of Directors)
• Allan Vincent Lorenzo (Philippine Information Agency – Director IV)
