MMDA: Reblocking, repairs in some Metro Manila roads from June 2 to 5

MANILA, Philippines — Several roads across Metro Manila will not be “fully passable” until Monday, June 5 as they will undergo repairs and reblocking this weekend.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said it has cleared the Department of Public Works and Highways to begin reblocking and road repairs starting Friday at 11 p.m.

“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” MMDA said in an advisory.

The following roads will be either partially or entirely blocked over the weekend:

C-5 Road NB, J. Vargas St. to Ortigas Flyover approach third lane, Pasig City
C-5 Road SB, in front of the University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City (Truck lane), Makati City
Edsa NB, after Kalayaan Flyover (Second lane from innermost lane), Makati City
C-5 Road SB, in front of Petron – Makati City
Edsa SB, fronting Panorama Bldg. and Word of Hope (Third lane from center island), Quezon City
Mindanao Ave. SB, Charbel to Rare Cars (Truck lane), Quezon City
Mindanao Ave. NB, underpass to Uni Oil Gas Station (Truck lane), Quezon City
A. Bonifacio Ave. NB, corner Sgt. Rivera (Third lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
