Romualdez ‘deserves the highest praise’ for leadership – House
MANILA, Philippines — The House of Representatives on Wednesday adopted House Resolution No. 1055 commending Speaker Martin Romualdez for his leadership.
Signed by Minority Leader Rep. Marcelino Libanan and Majority Leader Rep. Manuel Jose Dalipe, commended Romualdez for the work that the House achieved during the first regular session of the 19th Congress.
“With his resolute diligence and remarkable confidence, Honorable Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez triumphantly reinforced the principles and ideals of representative democracy and effectively carried out the functions of his office to lead and motivate into action all the Members of the House of Representatives during the First Regular Session of the Nineteenth Congress,” read the resolution.
According to Libanan, Romualdez proved himself as a true servant leader, adding that the House was able to navigate differences. among the lawmakers.
“As the minority leader, I am honored and humbled to have worked alongside the honorable representatives here. Despite our differences, opinions, and beliefs, we have found creative solutions to address the issues at hand. I’m proud that we were able to work successfully together, and achieve noteworthy results,” Libanan said in his address.

Marcos Jr. identified as mandatory for the country to fully recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and to maintain the upward growth of its economy,” Dalipe said.
The resolution was adopted as the House adjourned its first regular session, which will resume on July 24, when Marcos delivers his second State of the Nation Address.
