Magnitude 4.9 quake jolts Quezon, felt in parts of Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck the province of Quezon on Tuesday night, said the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The epicenter of the quake was located 14 kilometers northeast of Infanta, Quezon, and was recorded at 11:22 p.m.

The earthquake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of focus of 5 kilometers.

Meanwhile, Instrumental Intensity V was felt in Polillo, Quezon Province.
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks should be expected after the quake.
