7-vehicle smash up snarls traffic on Skyway

MANILA, Philippines – A seven-vehicle smash-up on Monday caused heavy traffic at the northbound lane of the Skyway, with its tail-end reaching the Alabang Viaduct, a Radyo Inquirer 990AM report said.

The report said that the accident happened at 8 a.m. on the Skyway’s northbound lane in Bicutan, involving two Hyundai Tucsons, Ford Everest, Toyota Rav4, Toyota Innova and two Mitsubishi L300 vans.

Aside from the driver from one of the two L300 vans who sustained minor injuries, the report said that no one else was hurt in the accident.

Meanwhile, six persons were hurt after the bus they were riding lost control along the southbound lane of the Southern Luzon Expressway (SLEX).
