LIST: Canceled flights on Monday due to Typhoon Betty
MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Monday due to inclement weather caused by Typhoon Betty (International Name: Mawar).
As of 11 a.m., the state weather bureau last spotted Betty 475 kilometers east of Calayan, Cagayan.
It affects parts of Northern Luzon, with heavy rainfall forecast in the eastern portion of Babuyan Islands, the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan, and Batanes.
In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority listed the following canceled flights:

Meanwhile, in a separate statement, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has so far reported no damage or casualties in its operated airports.
According to CAAP, fair weather already prevails in “Area 1,” which covers the Laoag International Airport, Vigan Airport, Baguio Airport, Lingayen Airport, Rosales Airport and the San Fernando Tower Facility.
CAAP said moderate rain and winds were reported at the Tuguegarao Airport in Cagayan.
“However, no damage to life or property has been reported. As of 7:00 a.m., the sun is up, indicating improving weather conditions.
CAAP reminded passengers to prioritize their safety and cooperate with airport and airline authorities.
“Travelers are advised to contact their respective airlines for any changes to their flight schedules, alternative arrangements, or further information,” reminded CAAP.
