MMDA: Weekend road repairs set in 19 areas

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways is set to conduct road reblocking and repairs on several roads in Metro Manila from Saturday, May 26 to Monday morning, May 29.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said in a traffic advisory on Friday that the the DPWH road reblocking will be from 11:00 p.m. on May 26 until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, May 29.

MMDA said motorists should avoid affected areas and use alternate routes instead,affected roads will only be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, May 2.
The road reblocking will cover the following areas:
- C-5 Road northbound (NB), J. Vargas St., to C5-Ortigas Flyover Approach (3rd lane), Pasig City
- C-5 Road southbound (SB), in front of UP BGC (Truck Lane), Makati City
- EDSA (NB), after Kalayaan Flyover (2nd lane from Innermost lane), Makati City
- C-5 Road (SB), in front of Petron, Makati City
- EDSA (SB), fronting Panorama Bldg., & fronting Word of Hope (3rd lane from center island), Quezon City
- Mindanao Ave. (SB), fronting Flying V Gas Station to Mindanao Bridge I (Truck Lane), Quezon City
- A. Bonifacio Ave. (NB), corner Sgt. Rivera St., (3rd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- A. Bonifacio Ave. (SB), Cloverleaf to 11th Ave. (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- G. Araneta Ave., Sto. Domingo Ave. to Mauban St., (2nd lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
- Commonwealth Ave. (NB), Commission on Audit (COA) to Kristong Hari (3rd lane from MRT 7 wall, Quezon City
- Aurora Blvd., K0011+560-K0011+600 before F. Castillo St., (1st lane from sidewalk), Quezon City
