Eta said the project, aimed at addressing the country’s 6.5-million-unit housing gap, is open to all homeless individuals, particularly as a relocation site for informal settler families and those living in danger zones.

The Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program plans to construct 1 million housing units per year until 2028.

Yu revealed that the initial plan for the Zamboanga del Sur project involves constructing 21 ten-story towers comprising a total of 5,000 units.

The design will include amenities such as a commercial area, recreational facilities, and business offices.

Eta explained that with the national government’s subsidy, qualified beneficiaries will pay approximately ₱3,000 per month per condo unit for up to 30 years through the Pag-IBIG Fund.
