VP Sara off to Brunei in June

Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte is going to visit Brunei and Singapore in June as part of her duties as president of the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization, an intergovernmental group aimed at cooperation in education, science and culture in the region. Duterte sought help from the private sector in developing interventions in education, noting that the national budget allocation of P895.2 billion was not enough. —JANE BAUTISTA
