DIGOS CITY, Davao del Sur – After almost two years in hiding, a farmer wanted for rape was arrested by the police Monday afternoon.
Delfin Landem Aguan, 56, of Barangay Malongon, Magsaysay town, yielded to police officers in Purok 28, Barangay Poblacion.
According to acting Magsaysay police chief Capt. Rodrigo Dumangas, Jr., Aguan had a standing warrant issued by Judge Carfelita Cadiente-Flores of Regional Trial Court Branch 21 in Bansalan, Davao del Sur on October 20, 2021.
He is charged with three counts of rape.
Due to the gravity of his alleged offenses, Dumangas said Aguan was number 8 in the province’s most wanted list.
Aguan was placed under the custody of Magsaysay police station.
