OLONGAPO CITY — Central Luzon authorities confiscated more than P1.6 million worth of illegal drugs during their weeklong anti-narcotics operations from May 15 to May 21.
In a report on Tuesday, May 23, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said 174 drug suspects were arrested during these operations.
Illegal drugs, mostly “shabu” (crystal meth) and marijuana worth P1,624,299, were seized in at least 133 operations.
The PRO3 said 200 most wanted persons were also arrested in intensified manhunt operations last week.
Ten others were held for illegal possession of firearms, and 364 more were arrested for illegal gambling. INQ
