Pakistani resort owner slain in Bataan

Two drug suspects were arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations in Bataan after yielding more than P1 million worth of "shabu."

DINALUPIHAN, Bataan — A Pakistani resort owner in this town was gunned down Tuesday by two unidentified men, police said.

Investigators said Imran Aktar, 44, died on the spot after he was shot inside a room in his resort.

Lieutenant Colonel Joel Aparejado, Dinalupihan police chief, said relatives of the victim reported that he had no known enemies.

Police said the suspects pretended to be resort customers and parked their motorcycles in the resort’s garage, where there were no security cameras.

The relatives told the police investigators they wanted justice for the victim.

The police were still investigating the incident to determine the motive behind the attack and identify the culprits. INQ
