MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. officially appointed Roque Verzosa III as the regional director of the Land Transportation Office – National Capital Region (LTO-NCR).
This move coincides with the merging of the West and East offices of the LTO in Metro Manila.
Prior to the appointment, Verzosa served as regional director of LTO-NCR West as officer-in-charge.
Verzosa took his oath of office on Monday afternoon in the presence of Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista, said LTO-NCR West in a statement.
“Lalo pa natin paiiigtingin ang pagtratrabaho sa ating hangarin na mapaglingkuran ang ating mga kababayan,” he said.
(We will intensify our work in our desire to serve our countrymen.)
In a related development, LTO-NCR East and LTO-NCR West have been merged into one regional office.
The new set-up covers around 65 field district offices, extension offices, licensing centers, including outlets in malls.
