MANILA, Philippines — A fire broke out at a residential area in Barangay Old Capitol Site, Quezon City, on Sunday afternoon, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
The ire was reported along Dahlia St. at around 3:46 p.m. and reached the 3rd alarm by 4:12 p.m.
According to the agency, the firefighters extinguished the fire at 7:33 p.m.
The fire was already under control, but the BFP has yet to determine the cause of the fire, the number of casualties, and the houses or establishments affected.
But the fire hit a total of 15 houses within the area.
According to the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (QCDRRMO), its medics and urban search and rescue personnel responded to the area.

It added that the city Social Services Development Department also assisted in evacuating the residents.
