Indian man nabbed for alleged truck theft in Tarlac.

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — An Indian national is under police custody for being a suspect in the recent theft of a dump truck in Camiling town, Tarlac province, the Central Luzon police said on Thursday afternoon, May 18.

The regional police identified the arrested suspect in a statement as Ropinder Singh, 27.

The Isuzu dump truck owned by Elpidio Dela Cruz was stolen on Tuesday while parked at his residence in Palimbo-Caarosipan village, the police said.

During a follow-up operation on the same day, the police found the truck.

“[The] truck was located at Barangay Tambugan of that town in the possession of Ropinder Singh (Indian name), also known as Jaani Singh (Philippine name), 27 years old, Indian national and presently residing at Kawili Oligario, Mangatarem, Pangasinan,” the police said.

Singh and the stolen vehicle were brought to the Camiling police station for proper disposition. INQ
