LUCENA CITY — Police arrested two drug suspects early Wednesday, May 17, in a buy-bust operation in Batangas City.
Mark Lester Lacsamana, 36, and Jeffrey Bundalian, 36, were collared at 12:25 a.m. after they sold P30,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in Barangay Balagtas, the Batangas police reported.
Authorities seized three sachets of shabu weighing 13 grams worth about P88,400 and a mobile phone containing a list of supposed drug transactions by the suspects.
The police also confiscated a Toyota Vios sedan believed to have been used by the suspects in their illegal drug trade.
The police tagged Lacsamana as a “high-value” target in the government’s anti-illegal drug war.
The suspects were detained at the city police jail and are facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
