USC’s Satera, Siso bag titles in 18-U division
University of San Carlos (USC) tennis players ruled their respective divisions in the 5th Mandaue City Mayor’s Cup, which ended yesterday at the Mandaue City tennis courts.
Fritz Satera and Sally Mae Siso led the USC domination as both clinched the title in the premier 18-under category.
Satera routed Marc Norman Enriquez, 10-8, for the boy’s title while Siso demolished Hannah Grace Espinosa, 10-1, to rule the distaff side.
Other Warriors who won titles were Francis Lambayan, who edged Marc Suson, 10-8, in the boys 12-under finals, and Jermaine Laurel, who bagged the boys 14-under title against Zudy Balundo, 10-4.
The girl’s title in both categories went to Bright Academy’s Zethley Mae Alferez and Allysa Mae Bornia.
Alferez secured the 12-under title with a 10-3 whipping of Kara Salimbangon, while Bornia easily notched the 14-under title over Patricia Tapdasan, 10-4.

In the 10-under unisex, Nonito John Pepito edged Vince Lominoque, 10-8, for the title.
