QC cops nab 5 van ‘choppers’
Five men were arrested on Friday after being caught in the act of dismantling a Mitsubishi Adventure which was stolen by the owner’s private driver, the Quezon City police said Saturday.
The suspects were traced to a house in Norzagaray, Bulacan, where police said they had taken apart the vehicle owned by William Caya, a resident of Novaliches.
Supt. Crisostomo Mendoza, Novaliches police station commander, identified those arrested as Salvador Tamuso, Rolando Francisco, Leo Mianon, Louie Clave and Randy Mianon.
Caya last week reported the loss of his vehicle, which was then entrusted to his driver Alexander Manalastas. Julie M. Aurelio
