Bongbong Marcos says wife Liza was ‘one of best dressed’ during King Charles coronation
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Thursday touted how his wife First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos was among the “best dressed” guests during the coronation of King Charles III in the United Kingdom.
He mentioned this during his speech after arriving from Indonesia after attending the 42nd Summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
He was greeting Cabinet members and esteemed government officials who were present during his arrival and made the comment when it was his wife’s turn.
“The best dressed — one of the best dressed at the coronation of our King Charles, our First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos,” the President said.
British news outlet the Telegraph earlier listed First Lady Liza as among the “most fashionable” personalities who graced Westminster Abbey.
