CITY OF CALAPAN — Oriental Mindoro Gov. Humerlito Dolor announced on Monday, May 8, the lifting of a fishing ban in some towns in the province.

At a press conference, Dolor said the fishing ban was lifted in Baco, San Teodoro, Puerto Galera, Bongabong, Roxas, Mansalay, and Bulalacao.

The fishing ban will stay in Calapan City and in the towns of Naujan, Pola, Pinamalayan, Gloria, and Bansud.

Dolor said residents in areas where the fish ban is in effect could still go to other parts of the province where fishing is already allowed.
