9 nabbed, over P88,000 worth of shabu seized in Legazpi City

LEGAZPI CITY – Anti-narcotics team arrested nine suspected drug personalities and recovered P88,400 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in this city in Albay province on Sunday, May 7.

Lieutenant Kharren Formales, Albay police spokesperson, said in a report that the suspects identified as Rodolfo Perez, Noel Esplana, Carli Frayno, Elmer Palma, Roque Lerin, Ferdinand Bitara, Jhal Rondina, Hector Borero, and Vincent Nichol Hormina were arrested after the operation in Barangay (village) Gogon around 12:20 p.m.

Formales said authorities recovered a sachet or 13 grams of shabu from the suspects in the house of Perez.

Seized illegal drugs and the suspects were in the custody of the police.
