PDEA, cops dismantle ‘drug den’ in Calamba City
LUCENA CITY — Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives and police on Thursday dismantled an alleged drug den and arrested four suspects in Calamba City, Laguna.
A report posted by PDEA Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) on its Facebook page said that at 1:54 a.m., Shelami Roma Miyahara, 35; Clarizze Gasaff, 32; Ryan Hermano, 40; and Catherine Fay Belen, 35, were arrested during a raid in a suspected drug den in Barangay Parian.
The raiders seized 10 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P69,000 and assorted drug-sniffing paraphernalia.
The report tagged Miyahara as the drug den maintainer.
The four suspects were detained, and cases of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them.
