LUCENA CITY — Seven drug suspects yielded over P159,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) after they were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Tuesday, May 2, in Cavite province.
The Region 4A police reported on Wednesday, May 3, that Bacoor City anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Higinio Achapero, Rommel Catap, Ronald Poblete, and Noel De Guzman at 7:50 p.m. after they sold P500 worth of meth to an undercover cop in Barangay Molino 7.
Seized from the suspects, all alleged “high-value” targets, were drug paraphernalia and 15 grams of shabu worth around P102,000.
Police in Tanza town also arrested at 5:40 p.m. Vladimir Sarmiento and Ignacio Ignacio after they allegedly sold shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Amaya 1.
The police found them with four sachets of shabu worth P37,950.
In General Trias City, cops busted Edmund Paulmino at 8:20 p.m. in Barangay Camachile 1.
He was caught with three sachets of shabu worth P19,400 in the street market.
All suspects were detained and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002
