Pagasa sees warm weather in most parts of PH as easterlies prevail

MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country are expected to experience warm weather on Wednesday as easterlies continue to prevail, the state weather bureau said.

“Sa ating pinakahuling satellite images, easterlies pa rin, ito yung hanging nagmumula sa Dagat Pasipiko, ang nakakaapekto sa malaking bahagi ng bansa,” according to Obet Badrina, weather specialist of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

(Based on our latest satellite images, easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, affect most parts of the country.)

Badrina also said warm weather would prevail due to thin cloud bands in the country.

“Makikita po ninyo wala po masyadong kaulapan na nabubuo o nakakaapekto sa ating kapuluan, kaya generally mainit pa din po ang panahon na mararanasan sa malaking bahagi ng ating bansa ngayong araw,” Badrina added.

(As you can see there are barely any cloud bands forming within the archipelago, so fair weather is generally expected in most parts of the country today.)

Luzon
Metro Manila: 26 to 34 degrees Celsius
Tagaytay City: 22 to 30 degrees Celcius
Baguio City: 17 to 25 degrees Celsius
Laoag City: 25 to 32 degrees Celcius
Legazpi City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Tugegarao City: 24 to 36 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius

Visayas
Cebu: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius
Tacloban: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
Iloilo: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius

Mindanao
Zamboanga City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
Cagayan de Oro: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
Davao City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius

Pagasa, meanwhile, did not raise a gale warning in any seaboards nationwide.
