All set for Run Forward: Rave Party
A one-of-a-kind event awaits runners when the Persimmon Plus Cebu hosts the Run Forward: Rave Party on July 23 at the establishment’s grounds along M.J. Cuenco Street in barangay Mabolo, Cebu City.
The merchants of Persimmon, an urban village with residential condominiums and commercial establishments, joined hands with AboitizLand in staging the sundown running event which starts at 4 p.m.
The run, which features 3- and 5-kilometer distances, aims to promote Persimmon and also raise funds for Zonta Club of Cebu 1, an international organization that thrives to enhance and empower the women’s role in the society.
“We are so glad that they chose us as their beneficiaries of their event,” said Zonta Club of Cebu I president Stella Bernabe.
“We are helping women in Budlaan here in Cebu through our micro-financing project, which helps them sell plants and orchids in the city.”
Making the running event unique is its post-race rave party to be hosted by Penthouse Cebu and Soundballoon. The party will be free to enlisted runners.
