Glenn Bolocon topped the Golden Lions with 23 points while Bryan Faundo added 16 points and nine rebounds.
The loss for the Golden Lions was a tough one as they are battling the Gensan MP Warriors and Ilocos Sur CS Tigers for the last two of five spots in next month’s Super Leg.
The hosts did their part as they defeated the Tigers, 80-75, in the curtain-closer.
The sixth-ranked MP Warriors of Rep. Manny Pacquiao earned a point for the win and closed the gap with the CS Tigers of Gov. Luis “Chavit” Singson and Coach Johnedel Cardel to three points for the fifth and last Super Leg slot at 8-11. Correspondent Jonas Panerio
