Four passengers allegedly abandon their car after it rammed into a tree in the center island of Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines — Four passengers allegedly abandoned their car after it rammed a tree in the center island of Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City early morning Friday.

According to a report from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the passengers were nowhere to be found when traffic officers arrived at the scene.

“Apparently, four passengers ang nakasakay pero iniwan nila ang kanilang (were aboard but they abandoned their) car after the incident,” the MMDA noted.

According to the MMDA, the car was towed to the Pasay City traffic bureau at around 6 a.m.

It added that a probe into the incident is already underway to identify the people in the vehicle when it crashed. — Aliah Gumasing, trainee
