2 held in drug buy-bust operations in Mindoro

CITY OF CALAPAN — Two men were nabbed in separate buy-bust operations on Mindoro Island, according to reports from the Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan) police regional office on Friday, April 14.
Police arrested 47-year-old Dennis Macapagal on Wednesday after allegedly selling a heat-sealed plastic sachet of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P500 to an undercover agent at Barangay Calima in Pola town, Oriental Mindoro.
In another operation, police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency personnel arrested 53-year-old Jessie Reyno, who allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover agent at Barangay Central in San Jose town in Occidental Mindoro province.
The suspects were placed in police custody and are now facing charges of violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
