P29,000 ‘shabu’ seized from 3 suspects in Camarines Sur

LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities arrested three suspected drug traders and recovered P29,200 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur late Thursday, April 13.

In a report, Col. Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said Jose Llegado, 59, and Victor Vargas Jr., 36, were arrested after selling a sachet of shabu worth P500 to an undercover agent in Barangay (village) La Opinion in Nabua town at around 7:40 p.m.

During the body search, authorities also recovered nine sachets of shabu.

Domingo said a total of four grams worth P27,200 of shabu was confiscated from the suspects.

In Calabanga town, Cali Robrigado, 28, was also arrested in Barangay Paolbo at 8:27 p.m. INQ
