KOREAN TRIES TO KILL SELF
A KOREAN national caused a commotion inside a Mandaue bar after he tried to commit suicide.
Police said the Korean barged into the Nasa KTV Bar on A.S. Fortuna in barangay Bakilid around 1 a.m.
Police said the Korean ordered sujo, an alcoholic Korean drink, but bar personnel told him they were about to close already.
The Korean insisted and bar workers obliged.
Later, the Korean went wild and took a nylon rope, which he tied around his neck.
The Korean looked for a beam where he could hang himself.
Bar workers subdued the Korean and turned him over to the Subangdaku police precinct.
The Korean will be charged for trespassing and drunkenness, said police. REPORTER JUCELL MARIE P. CUYOS
