P40,800 shabu seized from 2 suspects in Albay

A 21-year-old woman drowned while swimming in a river in Sto. Domingo town in Albay on Easter Sunday, April 9.

LEGAZPI CITY — Two drug suspects were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Monday in Albay province.

Lieutenant Kharren Formales, Albay police spokesperson, said in a report Tuesday, April 11, that Aldrin Ando, 19, sold at 5:05 p.m. four sachets of shabu (crystal meth) worth P6,800 in Barangay Tuburan.

In Barangay Peñaranda in this city, Marvin Esumbra, 39, also sold five grams of shabu worth P34,000.
