11 houses razed in Cavite town fire

The Philippine National Police in Cavite province has advised motorists to check on and use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion in the towns of Indang, Amadeo, Tanza and Trece Martires City due to the special congressional election on Saturday, Feb. 25.

LUCENA CITY – A fire burned 11 houses in a residential area in Noveleta, Cavite on Monday, April 10.

The Regional Police 4A said in a report Tuesday that the blaze started in one of the houses in Barangay San Rafael III and quickly spread to adjacent houses made from light materials.

The local government said in a report that the fire started at 3:46 p.m.

No one was hurt in the incident.

The affected families were temporarily settled at the village evacuation center.
