2 wanted NPA members nabbed in Masbate

Two active members of the New People's Army on the most wanted list for murder were arrested in Pio V. Corpuz town in Masbate province on Sunday, April 9.

MASBATE CITY – Two active members of the New People’s Army on the most wanted list for murder were arrested in Pio V. Corpuz town in Masbate province on Sunday, April 9.

According to the Masbate Provincial Police Office (PPO), one of the suspects was identified as Semion Rabadon, alias “Jay R,” 30, who was tagged as the Bicol region’s number four most wanted person.

Rabadon was captured at 1 p.m. in Sitio (sub-village) Kaboss, Guindawahan village.

A separate operation at 3:30 p.m. in the same location resulted in the arrest of Karl Masarque, 24, who was classified as the seventh most wanted person in the municipality.

The two were reportedly under the command of Rogelio Suson, also known as “Manong,” the commanding officer of the rebel group Larangan 2, Komite ng Probinsya 4.

They were taken into custody by a joint operation of the Pio V. Corpuz Municipal Police Station, the PIT-Masbate Regional Intelligence Unit 5, the Police Intervention Unit-Masbate PPO, and the Masbate 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company.
