NBI arrests 14 for illegal mining

MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation Environmental Crimes Division arrested 14 people over an alleged illegal quarrying operation in Rodriguez, Rizal.

The NBI identified the suspects as Dadis Perselin, Randell Salac, Mark Benley Ramos, John Francisco Rellores, Ricardo Hernal, Prudencio Mira, Joel Agner, and Edelberto Cillo. All are employees of Rodrock Aggregates Corp.

Also arrested were Joebert Villeza, Aldrin Mirasol, Leo Gallado, Jay Agner, Peter Sordivillo and Dennis Luzara.
