TUGUEGARAO CITY — Fifteen passengers and crew members of a boat were safely rescued by members of the Coast Guard District Northeastern Luzon and fisher volunteers at the waters off Sta. Ana, Cagayan Saturday afternoon (April 8).

The Coast Guard reported that at about 3:30 p.m., the boat named Jhon Lea was seen half-sunken off the shores of San Vicente village with its passengers calling for help.

Overloading was seen to have caused the incident.
