MANILA, Philippines — A rape suspect and the 10th most wanted person of Eastwood Police Station in Quezon City (QC) has been arrested in Cupang, Antipolo City, police said Friday.

According to a report from the QC Police District, the suspect was identified as Edwardo Humagbas Deloso, 40, a resident of the same barangay where he was arrested.

The QCPD said the Eastwood police monitored the suspect for days until the complainant informed them that someone saw Deloso in Antipolo City, Rizal.

Eastwood cops then conducted an operation in Antipolo City to arrest him.

The QCPD said Deloso has a pending arrest warrant for rape with no bail recommended issued by the Presiding Judge Joanne Gironella-Gastrock of Antipolo City Trial Court Branch 98.

“Ang matagumpay na pagkakaaresto sa akusado ay isang patunay sa aming determinasyong ilagay sa kustodiya ng kapulisan ang sinumang may pagkakasala sa ilalim ng batas kahit saanman sila naroon,” QCPD director Police Brig. Gen. Nicolas D. Torre III said in a statement.
