MANILA, Philippines — MANILA, Philippines — A suspected motorcycle thief was killed, and his accomplice was arrested in Quezon City in an alleged shootout with Galas Police.

Suspects Yukio Mcfee, 26, and Shane Misha Morales, 19, were identified by police after the gun battle on April 5.

QCPD acted on a tip about the stolen motorcycle sale, leading to an entrapment operation.

Mcfee attempted to elude arrest by opening fire at policemen during the operation, police said. However, the ensuing brief firefight led to his death, enabling the authorities to apprehend his girlfriend.

Items recovered from the suspects included a .38 caliber revolver containing four rounds of ammunition, a motorcycle owned by the Angkas driver, and various identification cards and documents.

Police found shabu in Morales’ possessions, who is now in custody with charges being prepared. The case has been forwarded to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit for further investigation, according to QCPD.
