Malacañang: Contemplate Jesus crucifixion on Good Friday
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang enjoined Filipinos to reflect on the value of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Good Friday.
Good Friday is when the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ are commemorated.
“Ang Biyernes Santo ay araw para sa ating mga kapatid na Katoliko ng pag-alala sa sakripisyo na ginawa ni Hesus sa krus,” the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said in a Facebook post.
(Good Friday is when Catholic Filipinos commemorate Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.)
Article continues after this advertisement“Sa araw na ito, nawa’y makapaglaan tayo ng panahon na magnilay-nilay tungkol sa kahalagahan ng sakripisyo at magpasalamat sa biyaya at awa na ipinagkaloob sa atin ng Diyos,” it added.
