Rep. Marcos, Tingog Rep. Romualdez PH’s top House performers

House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Araneta Marcos III has been ranked as the highest performing representative amongst 126 neophyte lawmakers in the Philippines based on the recent RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) “Boses ng Bayan” independent, non-commissioned survey.

MANILA, Philippines — House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Ferdinand Alexander “Sandro” Araneta Marcos III has been ranked as the highest performing representative amongst 126 neophyte lawmakers in the Philippines based on the recent RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) “Boses ng Bayan” independent, non-commissioned survey. 

Hailing from Ilocos Sur, District 1, Sandro has garnered an 95.8 percent performance score.

The performance evaluation of neophyte lawmakers in the Philippines resulted in some notable rankings. Jolo Revilla of Cavite secured second place with a remarkable performance rating of 91.7%. Not far behind was Edu Rama of Cebu, who earned a mark of 91.5%.

The third spot was a highly contested tie, with Loreto Amante of Laguna (89.4%), Marvin Rillo of Quezon City (88.7%), Emeng Pascual of Nueva Ecija (88.6%), Rhea Gullas of Cebu (88.6%), Marivic Co-Pilar of Quezon City (88.5%), Jay Khonghun of Zambales (88.5%), and Lordan Suan of Cagayan de Oro (88.4%). These politicians received significant scores for their performance as lawmakers. 

Ando Oaminal of Misamis Oriental (88.1%), Migz Villafuerte of Camarines Sur (87.7%), Midy Cua of Quezon (87.6%), and Aniela Tolentino of Cavite (87.4%) share the fourth position statistically. These lawmakers demonstrated high results during their first term in office.

Finally, Franz Pumaren of Quezon City (86.6%), Dean Asistio of Caloocan (86.4%), Cynthia Chan of Lapu-Lapu (86.4%), PM Vargas of Quezon City (86.2%), Ian Amatong of Zamboanga del Norte (86.1%) , and Marie Escudero of Sorsogon (85.8%) were tied for fifth place. These lawmakers also demonstrated strong performances during their first term in office, earning outstanding scores in the performance evaluation.

The latest job satisfaction evaluations of party-list representatives in the Philippines have revealed the outstanding performance of Yedda Marie Romualdez from Tingog party-list. Romualdez earned an excellent rating of 93.5%, positioning her as the top-performing representative in the party-list system. Following closely behind Romualdez is Jocelyn Tulfo of ACT-CIS, who achieved a commendable score of 89.4%.

In the third spot is Bryan Revilla of AGIMAT, who garnered a score of 88.6%. Meanwhile, Migs Nograles of PBA secured the fourth position with a rating of 87.9%, and JC Abalos of 4PS ranked fifth with an 87.5% rating. 

Ranked 6th to 10th are the following top party-list representatives; Bonifacio Bosita of 1Rider (85.9%), Elizaldy Co of Ako Bicol (85.1%), Bernadette Herrera of BH Bagong Henerasyon (84.4%), Rodante Marcoleta of SAGIP (83.6%), and Ompong Ordanes of Senior Citizens (80.1%).

“These evaluations are essential in providing a glimpse into the performance of the country’s district and party-list representatives, who have been tasked to represent every district and the marginalized sectors of society. Through these ratings, the public can gauge the effectiveness of these representatives in fulfilling their mandate and addressing the needs of their constituents,” said Dr. Paul Martinez of RPMD.
