Mindanao, Central Visayas and Palawan will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms, while the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Expect warm weather across extreme Northern Luzon due to a ridge of a high pressure area, or fewer clouds, it also said.

Temperatures in Olongapo (Angeles City) could go between 24 and 36 degrees Celsius; 22  and 35  degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao and 23 and 34 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila, it added.

The highest temperature recorded in Metro Manila Tuesday was at 12 noon, with 34.5 degrees Celsius.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas, Pagasa said.
