MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid weather will prevail in most parts of the country on Saturday due to easterlies and the start of the dry season, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Aasahan po natin na ang malaking bahagi ng ating bansa ay makakaranas ng mainit na panahon, pero malaki pa rin and tiyansa ng mga isolated o pulo-pulong pag-ulan lalo na sa silangan bahagi ng Visayas, Mindanao at Southern Luzon,” Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said in ann early morning update.
(Expect warm weather in most parts of the country, although isolated roan showers and thunderstorms are also possible, especially in the eastern part of the Visayas, Mindanao and Southern Luzon.)
“Wala po masyadong kaulapan at easterlies ang siyang nakakaapekto partikular sa southern part ng Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao,” Badrina added.
(There are minimal cloud clusters, and the easterlies will continue to affect parts of southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.)
No low-pressure area was likewise spotted in and around the Philippine area of responsibility.
Badrina added that no gale warning is in effect over any of the country’s seaboards
