While at the wake, Marcos and Revilla personally condoled with the youth leader’s parents, Melchor and Mayumi, and then handed over financial aid from President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

The Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) launched the #StopTheHate campaign last year after Pabalan–a person with a disability (PWD)–got bashed on social media for supporting the election campaign of Marcos and Sara Duterte.
