A FURNITURE worker stabbed and wounded a jeepney driver whom he suspected of having an affair with his wife in barangay Basak, Mandaue City.
Leo Facultad, 39, was arrested by a policeman who happened to pass by when the stabbing occurred Monday noon.
Police said Facultad has been suspecting that his wife and Roland Dumaog had a relationship, which was denied by both.
Because of the suspicion, Facultad had been monitoring his wife and saw her and Dumaog talking by the road in Consuelo Village.
Facultad approached the two of them and attacked Dumaog with a bladed weapon locally known as lukob.
Dumaog tried to parry the blows and was wounded in the arm.
PO1 Melanio de Guzman of the Cebu Provincial Police Office saw the commotion and arrested Facultad.
Facultad was brought to the Basak police precinct.
