MIAA transfers domestic flights to Naia Terminal 2
Airlines are gearing up for the transfer of domestic flights to Terminal 2 of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia), following the directive of the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA).
AirAsia Philippines said it had been notified by the MIAA about the planned transfer effective July 1.
Philippine Airlines (PAL) spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said they were working with airport authorities for the eventual use of Terminal 2 as an all-domestic terminal.
Cebu Pacific, meanwhile, will not be affected by the transfer. All its flights will remain at Naia Terminal 3.
PAL is set to reopen flights from Clark to Caticlan and Coron by April. Cebu Pacific, meanwhile, is set to resume flights from Iloilo to Puerto Princesa and Cagayan de Oro by June. —Tyrone Jasper C. Piad
