2 drug suspects nabbed in Olongapo, Subic

The second most wanted person in the nearby province of Zambales was arrested during a manhunt operation, police here said Wednesday, Dec. 28.

OLONGAPO CITY — Two drug suspects were arrested in two separate anti-narcotics operations in this city and nearby Subic town in Zambales province, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said Thursday, March 23.

In a report, police identified the suspects as Ronaldo Fuerte, 40, of Olongapo and Abdul Zaid Abdurasid, 30, of Subic.

Fuerte yielded 24.5 grams of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P166,600 based on the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value, the PRO3 said.

Abdurasid was reportedly caught in possession of 33.6 grams of alleged shabu with a DDB value of P228,480.00 during an operation in Subic’s Barangay Calapacuan, it added.

The suspects will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
