Suspect in killing of neighbor in Bulacan falls

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Police on Monday (March 20) arrested a 19-year-old suspect in the killing of his neighbor in the City of Malolos last year.

Bulacan Police Director Col. Relly Arnedo identified the suspect as Larry Cantong Jr., who is facing a homicide charge and is considered the top most wanted person in Malolos.

Cantong was arrested at about 6 a.m. in Batac City, Ilocos Norte province.

Police arrested Cantong while he was working at a farm.

The suspect was wanted for hacking to death Reynaldo Paraiso, 59, in October last year.

Bulacan Regional Trial Court Branch 83 Judge Mylene Cabigao Albaytar-Avendaño issued the warrant of arrest against Cantong with a recommended bail of P120,000. INQ
