LEGAZPI CITY — Four suspected drug personalities, including two brothers, were arrested in separate operations in Camarines Sur on Monday, March 20, in Camarines Sur.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of Bicol police, said in a report Tuesday, March 21, that Joseph Casin, 20, was arrested in a buy-bust at 10:40 p.m. in Barangay Dinaga in Canaman town.
Authorities recovered a sachet of shabu (crystal meth) from the suspect, who was tagged as a street-level individual.
In Baao town, Roberto Beliber, 37, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. in Barangay Sagrada.
Authorities recovered four sachets or two grams of shabu worth P48,000, six rolled aluminum foil, two improvised tooters, and a weighing scale.
An hour later, his brother, Jaime, was also arrested in a separate search operation at another house in the same village.
Authorities recovered six grams of shabu worth P40,800 and other illegal drug paraphernalia.
In Balatan town, Pedro Monedero, 46, was also arrested at 10:40 a.m. in Barangay Duran.
Seized were two sachets of shabu worth P3,000.
The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
